Gendered Teaching

I am taking trigonometry, gender and communications, english the essay, and ethics. Two of my teachers are men and two of them are women. During english and trigonometry, I noticed no gender specific behavior. But during ethics I can tell that the material is more gender biased. The teacher however, treats both genders in the class equally. But ethics is based around the thoughts and knowledge of primarily men. Its about half way through the semester and I still have yet to hear anything about women philosophers. In my gender and communications class, the teacher does not necessarily have gendered behavior. She does with some of her opinions but not the students. The book assigned for gender and communication seems very gender biased. The book seems to favor women more then men. But overall through out my classes I see little to no gendered behavior.
